This is the harrowing story of Tori Dante and the regular sexual abuse inflicted on her by her father. It describes her journey from the despair of her childhood to the healing she discovered after committing her life to Jesus'. Dante is not out to shock; the purpose of this book is to educate people about the reality of sexual abuse, to help those who have suffered, to suggest how others can be of help and to point out sources of information. This is a book I would have gladly left on the shelf, but these things happen, they always have, and ignoring them is not helping anybody, least of all ourselves. We owe it to Tori and those like her, to read, learn and take heed.
