Ruth was raised in the North East of England and trained as a Primary School teacher, taking her degree at Durham University. She has written and broadcast several children's stories on local radio and has a heart for hurting children (of whatever age) within the Body of Christ. She has two married daughters and several grandchildren. Along with her husband Joe, she has worked in the healing ministry for many years, both teaching and ministering into the lives of many hundreds of people. Many people in the Body of Christ are afflicted with what numerous physicians would call an 'untreatable condition' which is the ache of unresolved emotional pain or the healing of a broken heart. Father God heard the heart beat of our pain and came down, in His son Jesus, to deliver us, to heal us, and to restore us to health and wholeness. This book has been written for those who want to understand some of the roots of their own brokenness, as well as for those who might be feeling God's call to assist Him in binding up those who are wounded on the inside.
